Salary: Starting Salary: $65,000/year

Position Summary

The AGPU 1.1 Tester performs functional, operational, and performance testing of Aviation Ground Power Unit (AGPU 1.1) systems to verify conformance to specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. This is a hands-on testing role working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.


Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and operational testing on AGPU 1.1 units, including engine, hydraulic, preheater, AGPU/electrical output, I/O, and load testing.
  • Record test data and results accurately using internal forms and documentation systems.
  • Identify and report nonconformances to Quality and Engineering.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause investigation of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Review engineering drawings, schematics, test procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ensure use and maintenance of calibrated test equipment.
  • Follow safety standards and lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Support customer or government witness testing activities as needed.


Skills & Competencies

  • Technical or military testing background.
  • Experience in aerospace/defense, power generation, diesel engines, or hydraulic systems.
