As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. - Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support proper communication with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, stockroom areas, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
- Assist with closing procedures, alarm-related responses, and/or other site-specific assignments while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
