RPA DeveloperLocation: Atlanta, GAClient: Southern CompanyContract: 5 MonthPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RPA Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying robotic process automation solutions using industry-leading tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism.This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to translate business process requirements into automated workflows that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism.Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.Develop process documentation, technical design documents, and reusable automation components.Build bots, workflows, and integrations across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, SharePoint, Excel, SQL databases).Implement error handling, logging, and exception management in automation scripts.Optimize RPA solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.Maintain and support existing automations, including bug fixes, enhancements, and performance tuning.Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure automation aligns with compliance and governance standards.Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide post-deployment support.Maintain documentation and version control for all developed processes.Required QualificationsProven experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Power Automate (Microsoft Flow), or Blue Prism.Proficiency in workflow design, data manipulation, and process optimization.Strong understanding of automation lifecycle — from requirement gathering to deployment.Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript).Knowledge of SQL databases, APIs, and integrations.Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and IT teams.Attention to detail and adherence to established automation standards.Preferred Qualifications1–3 years of professional experience in RPA development or automation engineering.Experience working with Excel, SharePoint, Oracle, SAP, or Salesforce data sources.Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools for automation metrics (optional).Familiarity with AI, OCR, and Machine Learning components within RPA frameworks.Background in process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or business analysis.Experience integrating automations into web portals or enterprise systems.Demonstrated ability to document, train, and support end-users for automated workflows.Ability to explain complex automation concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Bonus CriteriaRPA Developer Certifications (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer, Microsoft Power Automate Certification, or Blue Prism Developer).Portfolio of past automation projects or workflow designs.Familiarity with utility industry processes such as customer service, billing, or asset management automation.Experience with document processing, OCR tools (e.g., ABBYY, Document Understanding), and API-based integrations.
