The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Corporate Finance and Tax team. This individual will ensure the accurate and timely preparation of the quarterly and annual provisions for income taxes, prepared estimated tax payments and extension calculations, and assist with indirect tax functions.
Location
This role is a hybrid position based out of our office in Morgantown, WV and will be expected work onsite in the office three days per week.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage and maintain tax calendar.
  • Assist and/or manage quarterly and annual tax provisions.
  • Prepare work papers for quarterly provisions and identify relevant book to tax differences.
  • Prepare/review and file estimated payments and extensions for all income taxes and other tax filings.
  • Prepare and Assist with all Partnership activities, including managing internal business partners.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for various tax liabilities and adjustments.
  • Manage and assist with integration of any merger and acquisition activities.
  • Assist with managing 3rd party service provider and relationships.
  • Assist with tax notices, audits, research, and various tax projects, as needed.
  • Assist with process improvements and efficiencies with tax technologies.
  • Assist with implementation and execution of tax initiatives throughout the corporate enterprise.
Your Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax or public accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools. Specific experience with Quorum and Blackline is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analytics or robotic process automation (RPA) platforms is a significant plus.
  • A high level of integrity and the ability to manage sensitive, confidential financial data.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to translate complex tax concepts for non-tax business partners.
  • Proven success in prioritizing multiple high-stakes projects under tight regulatory deadlines.
  • A team-oriented mindset with the desire to take on new responsibilities as the department grows.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform light work - exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
