About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager who thrives in a technical engineering environment and enjoys working closely with customers and project teams. In this role, you act as the bridge between the customer and the engineering team, ensuring that expectations are clearly translated into actionable project deliverables. You will be managing multiple projects in parallel, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to balance scope, timing, and resources effectively.

Your responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for the customer, ensuring end-to-end project success
  • Translate customer needs into clear requirements for the engineering team
  • Lead and coordinate multiple automation / engineering projects (scope, planning, budget, timing, resourcing)
  • Track progress and ensure delivery on quality, timing and cost
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and provide clear direction and feedback
  • Support customers in finding solutions and resolving challenges
  • Foster strong collaboration within the project team
Your profile
  • Strong communication skills – you know how to:
    • align different stakeholders
    • motivate a team
    • give feedback (both positive and constructive)
  • Ability to translate business/customer needs into technical execution
  • Several years (5+) of experience in project management within an automation / process / engineering environment
  • Solid technical understanding of automation systems, including:
    • DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
    • E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation)
  • Experience with engineering processes, including electrical design and system migrations/integrations
  • Hands-on, pragmatic mindset, you take ownership and move things forward
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Background as an engineer who evolved into a project manager
  • Experience in industrial automation or process optimization environments
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
