Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team in the Business Transformation division builds bots critical to business operations. As a member of the RPA team, the Solutions Analyst will assist with the design and creation of software automations, tasks consolidation, and improvement of departmental efficiencies. Assists in the translation of business requirements into automated solutions and supports projects throughout their lifetime. The Solutions Analyst regularly interacts with a diverse group of stakeholders to determine what tasks may be automated, does all the coding necessary for the project as assigned by the Solutions Engineers and Managers, and performs extensive quality assurance and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists the Solutions Engineers with the design and building of production-grade solutions on the Power Automate RPA platform that are resilient, efficient, and easily maintained.
  • Assists in all aspects of the development life cycle, including architecture, requirement gathering, development, testing, training, implementation, and support for applications as well as reporting.
  • Participates in the translation of business requirements into specifications that will be used to guide development of bots and supplemental tools including required databases, user interfaces, reports, and dashboards.
  • Gathers and tracks data on businesses processed before and after automation, measuring the effectiveness of new bots and gathering business data for further analysis.
  • Improves the data flow and data quality to increase accuracy, viability, and value.
  • Creates and maintains training material and trains business functional, power, and end-users as necessary.
  • Unit test code for usability, reliability, and overall performance
  • Assists in quality control, validation processes and testing efforts, providing guidance and supervision to end users to ensure adequate and thorough testing.
  • Provides day to day support to the division as required to ensure the availability and performance of systems, users interface, automations, and dashboards.
  • Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
  • Other duties as assigned.

This role requires working on-site in the office (55 Walkers Brook Dr, Reading MA 01867) for five days aweek, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid workin this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a math, science or technology related field of study
  • 1 year of experience in programming (VB, Python, R, Java, C++)
  • Proficient with VBA, VB.Net, SQL
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
  • Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Great team player
  • MS- Office, especially MS Excel, with the ability to learn new software: expert.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with an RPA tool (Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.)
  • Business process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
  • SharePoint
  • Python
  • API driven development with REST Services

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
