Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Clinical Coordinator, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills, strong leadership potential, superior communication and collaboration abilities, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practice, quality patient care, and a supportive team environment.

  • Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
  • Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
  • Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
  • Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

We are offering up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. 

Job Requirements

Required

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
  • One (1) year of clinical RN experience.
  • RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.

The Telemetry Department at Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 24-bed unit that services Davis County, Utah. We are a fast-paced unit that cares for a large variety of patients. We are a Primary Stroke Center, a Certified Chest Pain Center, and a Level 3 Trauma Center. We are a close-knit group of health care professionals that have a culture of teamwork and excellent patient care. As part of our team, you will need a strong knowledge of pathophysiology, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in nursing skills. You will work closely with our amazing team of board-certified hospitalists and nursing staff to help provide excellent patient care to those that come to our facility. We are looking for candidates who are hard workers, adaptable, proactive, not afraid to ask questions, able to accept criticism, team players, and able to see the broader picture of patient care.
