Job description

PTMW, Inc is seeking a reliable and efficient laborer to join our manufacturing team in the Assembly department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the panel, floor and roof assembly metal buildings, ensuring that all   meet our high standards of quality and safety.   This position does not require previous experience as we will train the right candidate.  This position works 10 hour shifts 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays in a climate controlled environment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assemble pre-fabricated metal building components, including wall panels, floors and roofing panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct assembly and installation.
• Perform assembly duties at heights via ladder or scissor lift.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.

Required:

• Ability to use power tools
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• General understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent work history - including strong attendance record and tenure.
• Self motivated conscientious worker
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and physical capacity test, including, but not limited to, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Previous construction background
Previous work experience reading and understanding assembly instructions or blueprints
Previous experience with powered equipment, including scissor lift.
