  • Minimum one (1) year experience operating of e-line unit, and proficient in basic operations of perforating, jet cutting, and running & setting plugs
  • Valid Driver's License or State issued I.D.

  • Must Satisfy Homeland Security Requirements Regarding Background Checks
  • Must Complete Safety Training (Including Water Survival)
  • Must Comply with Drug & Alcohol Testing Requirements/Policy

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for ensuring that the customer is respected and served to the best of our ability.
  • Responsible for gathering and loading all necessary equipment, materials and parts for each job.
  • Responsible for making any necessary repairs to equipment, re-stocking parts and materials at the completion of each job.
  • Responsible for on-the-job day to day interaction with customers.
  • Responsible for insuring that all equipment is operated and maintained in the proper manner.
  • Responsible for the on-the-job, day to day safety of his crew.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of well downhole configurations and characteristics.
  • Responsible for making certain decisions on well conditions.
  • Responsible for accurately perforating and jet cutting at desired depths and running & setting plugs.
  • Responsible for accurately setting and retrieving wireline plugs.
  • Responsible for assisting crew members during plug and abandonment operations
  • Responsible for reporting to the P & A Supervisor.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area or job site by following CES HSE and Standard Operating Procedures manuals
  • Working in the P&A Shop when necessary and or filing documentation.

Functional Capacity

  • Floor to knuckle lift- able to safely lift 90 lbs. for two (2) consecutive repetitions.
  • Floor to crown lift- able to safely lift 50 lbs. for two (2) consecutive repetitions.
  • Floor to waist lift- able to safely lift and carry 90 lbs. for 20 feet and lower at normal speed.
  • Able to hang from a 1 1/2" rope for a minimum of 15 seconds (offshore only).
  • Ability to climb stairs.
