This role will focus on designing, building, andmaintainingdata pipelines, machine learning solutions, and automation scripts that support analytics, operational efficiency, and system integration-particularly within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Data Engineer Co-op Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to support predictive analytics, classification, and regression use cases.
- Build andmaintaindata pipelines that integrate machine learning outputs into operational systems.
- Develop andmaintainIgnition (Inductive Automation) scripts to automate workflows, trigger actions, and integrate data across systems.
- Work with Ignition modules such as Vision, Perspective, and SQL Bridge to support SCADA and industrial automation solutions.
- Write,optimize, andmaintaincomplex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers in MS SQL and Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, IT) to integrate data and automation solutions into existing infrastructure.
