🩺 RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
📍 Marysville, CA

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join a hospital team in Marysville, California. This role is ideal for an RN with strong post-operative recovery experience in a fast-paced surgical environment.


Position Overview

The PACU RN is responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures and ensuring safe, effective post-operative care.


Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia

  • Assess and manage post-operative complications and pain control

  • Monitor vital signs, airway, and neurological status

  • Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered

  • Provide patient and family education prior to discharge or transfer

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR


Requirements
  • Active California RN License – Required

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • ACLS Certification – Required

  • PALS Certification – Preferred (depending on patient population)

  • 2+ years PACU or critical care experience – Preferred
