Job Description: 

Client is seeking a Java Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and support modern, scalable, and secure digital banking applications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality user experiences while collaborating with backend, API, DevOps, security, and product teams in a regulated financial environment.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks, strong Java/Node backend exposure, and experience working in banking, financial services, or enterprise-scale platforms.


Key ResponsibilitiesFrontend Engineering (Primary Focus โ€“ 60โ€“70%)
  • Design and develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI using React.js / Angular / Vue

  • Build reusable UI components and design systems following enterprise UI/UX standards

  • Implement state management using Redux, Context API, NgRx, or equivalent

  • Ensure WCAG / ADA accessibility compliance for banking applications

  • Optimize frontend performance (lazy loading, code splitting, caching strategies)

  • Integrate frontend with backend APIs (REST/GraphQL) securely

  • Collaborate closely with UX designers and product owners to deliver customer-centric experiences


Backend & Full-Stack Responsibilities (30โ€“40%)
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js

  • Design and consume RESTful APIs / Microservices

  • Implement authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT)

  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)

  • Handle API error handling, logging, and performance tuning


Cloud, DevOps & Engineering Practices
  • Deploy applications on AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform platforms

  • Apply secure coding practices aligned with banking security standards

Quality, Security & Compliance
  • Write unit, integration, and UI tests (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Jasmine)

  • Follow OWASP security guidelines and enterprise governance policies

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit requirements

  • Support production releases and post-deployment issue resolution


Required Skills & QualificationsFrontend (Must-Have)
  • Expert in React.js / Angular with deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript

  • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design

  • Experience with component-based architecture and frontend testing frameworks

  • Strong understanding of browser behavior, performance optimization, and accessibility

Backend & Full-Stack
  • Strong working knowledge of Java Spring Boot or Node.js
