Position Overview

The Technician 1, Maintenance for Drug Product Finished Goods (DPFG)- SECOND SHIFT-  is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Drug Product (DP) related systems and equipment (e.g., filling line, automated inspection line, formulation, and isolation). This role ensures the systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing, conducts regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime.

 its second shift- from 3:PM till 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

What You'll Do

  • Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
  • Assists senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions
  • Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
  • Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices
  • Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
  • Attends all required safety and health training
  • Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
  • Assists with spare parts assessments, as required
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

  • Knowledge of GMP requirements and programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other process control systems
