Job description

Position: Machine Operator

Wages offered: $20.00

Location: Franklin Park, IL

Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM or Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 5:00 am-5:00 pm (working ONLY 36 hours for 3 days but will get paid for 40 hours)

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Franklin Park. This position is responsible for operating manufacturing machinery utilized in a high-quality medical device manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate assembly equipment using prescribed methods and training to manufacture parts within acceptable tolerances and standards.
  • Replace raw materials as required during the setup process and during continuous runs of production lots.
  • Continuous monitoring of assembly equipment while making in-process adjustments to ensure the product conforms to the specification.
  • Use required measuring instruments and gauges or scales to check and ensure products meet specifications
  • Perform prescribed cleaning of equipment
  • Perform routine general maintenance when scheduled
  • Compliance with the client’s Quality System policies and procedures pertaining to manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate clearly with personnel and the assigned work group.
  • Perform work to meet all required quality specifications.
  • Maintain and follow all safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

● High School Diploma or GED.

● Manufacturing experience.

Other:

● Must be able to use measuring instruments, gauges, and scales.

● Must demonstrate ability to manufacture products according to the procedures and drawings

while maintaining quality systems and standards.

● Must be mechanically inclined and be able to think quickly in order to make in-process

adjustments in a timely manner.

● Must have good communication skills.

● Must be able to work in a team environment

● Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.

● Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
