These positions often require only a valid driver's license and sometimes a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), but not previous truck driving work. Employers may provide on-the-job training to help new drivers learn the necessary skills. Local routes allow drivers to return home daily, making this role appealing for work-life balance. These jobs are a good entry point for those interested in a trucking career.
