Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and As a Petroleum Laboratory Specialist, you'll supervise and conduct laboratory tests on petroleum, oil, and lubricant products to ensure fire prevention and safety control for our troops, to ensure they meet the Army’s requirements, and our Soldiers can depend on them. You’ll train to perform physical and chemical tests on turbine aviation fuels, diesels and motor gasolines, and kerosene-based and diesel fuels in the field. Additionally, safety and fire prevention will be a daily form of life while working this job. This is not a civilian contractor position.  
No experience necessary. Position is entry level.  
REQUIREMENTS:  
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card  
  • 17 to 34 Years Old  
  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines  
  • No Major Law Violations  
  • No Medical Concerns  
TESTING & CERTIFICATIONS:  
  • 36 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available 
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training 
  • 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training 
  • 91 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)
