Job description

Job Summary:
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer for an Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, or Denver, CO. This role will support a large-scale application development initiative across multiple agile teams, focusing on building new applications and enhancing existing systems with a primary focus on backend Java development.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement new applications and system enhancements using Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application builds and modernization efforts
• Work across multiple development crews to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
• Contribute to backend development with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong Java development experience in enterprise-level applications
• Experience with MongoDB and/or Oracle databases
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced development environment
Preferred:
• Background in payments or financial systems
• Experience with ICON/IPF
• Exposure to modern versions of Angular
• Healthcare background is also considered
