The Interventional Radiology Technologist is crucial in providing exceptional patient care by performing specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to angiography, fluoroscopy, and vascular interventions under the direction of radiologists.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring their comfort, safety, and adherence to protocols.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment with precision and attention to detail, ensuring optimal image quality and patient outcomes.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing real-time imaging guidance and patient monitoring.
  • Uphold strict infection control measures and adhere to radiation safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in interventional radiology.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Current California State Radiologic Technologist License.
