Days, M-F, 8am-6:30pm with 4/10's scheduled shifts and on call as required.
Job Description
The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create individualized care plans, and providing patient education.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons.
  • Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
  • Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management.
  • Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain accurate medical records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR/BLS Card.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Proficiency in moderate sedation.
