Job description

Rockwell Architecture, Planning and Design, P.C. dba Rockwell Group seeks an Interior Designer in New York, NY. Job duties include: Oversee and coordinate the construction and design of furniture, objects, and interiors. Prepare hand sketches and 3D perspectives of proposed floor plan layouts. Formulate programming, space, and lighting solutions within a design. Create and organize lists and documents concerning materials, color, and equipment. Attend client meetings and develop initial design concepts consistent with contract specifications and design objective plans.

Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in Interior design or a related field and at least 18 months of professional experience working in interior design. Must have at least 18 months of experience drafting construction drawings and producing 3d renderings of layouts, including material specifications and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) packages. Must have at least 18 months of experience creating concept materials and sourcing furniture pieces for designs. Must have at least 18 months of experience organizing site visits for measurements and installations. Must be proficient in 3dsMax, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and V-Ray. Annual salary: $61,714.
