### Locums | Radiation Oncology | Outpatient | Duluth, MN (Any State License Accepted)### Why This Role

  • Full-time Radiation Oncology coverage in a collaborative cancer center
  • No call responsibilities
  • Work alongside experienced Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary oncology team
  • Modern technology with Varian TrueBeam and Epic
  • Four-month assignment covering a medical leave
  • ### Assignment Details
  • Start Date: October 1, 2026
  • End Date: January 31, 2027
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
  • No Call
  • Patient Volume: 10-16 patients under treatment per day
  • EMR: Epic and Varian ARIA
  • Credentialing: 45-120 days
  • ### Clinical Details
  • Outpatient consults, follow-up visits, CT simulations, and treatment planning
  • Approximately 2-3 consults per day (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Tuesday dedicated to On-Treatment Visits (OTV)
  • Approximately 10-12 follow-up visits per week
  • Perform CT simulation orders, treatment planning, image review, RT prescriptions, and plan approvals
  • Technologies include Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse, ARIA, MIM, Siemens Go Open Pro CT with respiratory gating
  • Techniques include 3D CRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
  • Participate in tumor boards, peer review, and multidisciplinary oncology collaboration
  • Supported by Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, RNs, and dedicated administrative staff
  • ### Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist
  • Any state license accepted
  • BLS
  • Experience with Epic, Varian ARIA, Eclipse, and Varian TrueBeam required
  • Proficiency with IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, and treatment planning
  • Ability to work onsite full time
