Description
We are looking for a vacation rental home inspector & guest services to join our growing team! You'll inspect properties prior to check-in and after check-out, flag any damage for repairs, and compile your findings into a detailed report. You'll also coordinate repairs, handle small repairs, and make sure that the property is fully set up to meet our guests' expectations.
You'll also be in touch with our guests directly for any emergencies that may arise, so strong communication skills and social skills are a must. Candidates with strong organizational skills and a love for detailed work will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough inspections of vacation homes before guest check-ins and after check-outs to ensure quality and safety.
• Identify and document any damages or maintenance issues, and promptly report them for repair.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee necessary repairs, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to keep properties in top condition for guests.
• Ensure each property is fully prepared and meets guest expectations prior to their arrival.
• Communicate directly with guests to address any emergencies or concerns, providing exceptional service and support.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, repairs, and guest interactions for future reference and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner.
• Keep clients updated and promptly respond to requests so customers feel informed
Qualifications
• Strong multitasking skills and organizational skills
• Unafraid of walking on roofs or climbing in attics or crawl spaces
• Valid driver's license and able to travel by car
• At least one year of work experience at a home inspection company or construction company
• Attention to detail is critical in the role for both inspections and for reporting purposes
• Proficient in basic computer skills, such as sending emails
• Must have working knowledge of basic home systems including plumbing, HVAC units, electrical, and security alarms
• Ability to clearly explain needed repairs both verbally and in writing to customers
