McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, has an opening for a Shop Service Technician in our Bowling Green, KY dealership.
Are you an experienced diesel technician looking for an employer who appreciates your hard-earned skills? Are you new to the industry and looking for an employer committed to your growth and training? Then look no further than McCoy Construction & Forestry.
Our Shop Service Technician position is responsible for repairing and maintaining electric, diesel and gasoline industrial, construction and forestry equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
โ€ข Must have heavy equipment and construction equipment experience.
โ€ข Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction and forestry equipment, including but not limited to, diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, transmission & axles, cooling systems, chassis repairs, and some
โ€ข Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, attachment installation, etc.
โ€ข Utilize a computer or mobile device to perform diagnostic tests and maintain accurate records of repairs.
โ€ข Maintain cleanliness in the shop.
โ€ข Must have basic computer skills.
โ€ข You must possess a valid driver's license.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
โ€ข 2 years of related diesel technician experience.
โ€ข Engine overhaul experience
