These roles often focus on training, assisting senior engineers, performing basic design or testing tasks, and learning industry standards. Employers typically look for candidates with relevant educational backgrounds, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn. These positions provide valuable hands-on experience and can lead to more advanced roles within the field. Common job titles include Electrical Engineering Intern, Junior Electrical Engineer, and Engineering Assistant.
