Location: Arlington, VA
Pay Rate: $38.00/hour
Project Duration: Approximately 2 Months


Skillforce is currently seeking skilled Journeyman Carpenters for a two month commercial remodeling project in Arlington, VA. This role will focus on interior renovation work, including framing and drywall installation. Candidates should be experienced, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a structured jobsite environment while maintaining high-quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform metal and wood framing for interior remodels

  • Hang, finish, and repair drywall as needed

  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications

  • Follow blueprints and construction plans

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Work collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial carpentry (framing and drywall)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • OSHA 10 certification required

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

  • Strong attention to detail and safety practices

  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute locally


Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
