Many companies, especially in fields like trucking, delivery, or ride-sharing, offer entry-level positions or training programs for people new to the industry. These roles typically provide on-the-job training, guidance, and sometimes assistance in obtaining necessary licenses, making it possible for newcomers to gain the skills and experience needed to advance in their driving careers.

To thrive as a No Experience Driver, you typically need a valid driver's license, strong knowledge of traffic laws, and a clean driving record. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, basic vehicle maintenance, and, for some jobs, completion of company-provided training programs are important. Start your driving career in Dayton, OH, with a role designed for recent CDL A holders. 365 Freight USA is hiring recent graduates and newly licensed CDL A drivers for a paid 4–6 week mentor training program. Trainees will ride and work alongside an experienced driver, learn the day-to-day flow of professional trucking, and then transition into solo driving. After training, drivers can earn $1,600–$1,800 weekly with full benefits.

What we offer:

  • Paid training throughout the 4–6 week mentor period.
  • Weekly earnings of $1,600–$1,800 after training.
  • Direct deposit for weekly pay.
  • Full benefits available after completion of training.
  • A strong starting opportunity for recent CDL A graduates ready to move from the classroom into real-world driving.
  • Practical, on-the-road guidance from a mentor before taking on solo driving responsibilities.
  • A structured path designed to help new drivers build confidence and experience safely while operating out of Dayton, OH.

What you'll be doing:

  • Complete a paid 4–6 week mentor training period that includes learning daily driving routines, working with an experienced driver, and preparing to transition into solo driving.
  • Drive with your mentor while assisting with pickups and deliveries and learning how to manage loads safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safe driving practices, complete required pre- and post-trip checks, and develop professional habits for over-the-road operations.
  • Gain hands-on experience with trip flow, communication, and decision-making as you progress from a recent graduate to an independent driver operating in the Dayton region and beyond.

What we're looking for:

  • Safety-first mindset: consistently follow DOT requirements, company procedures, and safe driving practices.
  • Reliability: arrive prepared to work, maintain schedules, and handle responsibilities consistently during training and after going solo.
  • Coachability: be receptive to feedback from your mentor and willing to learn through real-time instruction on the road.
  • Strong communication: maintain contact with your mentor and dispatch, ask questions when needed, and communicate clearly and professionally.
