About this position
SeeScan is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong automation tool and script development experience.
This is a fully onsite position located in San Diego.
Compensation
The salary range for our DevOps Engineer position is $80,000 to $130,000 annually.
This range represents a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will
  • Use creative problem-solving skills to close gaps between software development, testing, quality assurance, and support
  • Identify opportunities for process automation in software development and IT operations, using AI-driven tools where appropriate
  • Design, deploy, and monitor automations that improve productivity, reduce errors, and streamline workflows
  • Promote continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and availability with inventive approaches that balance efficiency with strict security requirements
  • Build and optimize integrations that simplify user experience and enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Maintain onsite presence to facilitate direct engagement with cross-functional teams and operations

About you
  • Eager to experiment with emerging technologies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able work across multiple teams in adopting new processes and technologies
  • Flexible and adaptable in managing simultaneous changes to various parts of a system
  • Big-picture perspective to consider our organization's entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements

Your background
  • Strong experience developing in C#
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment, especially with introducing or evolving DevOps practices using AI or automation enhancements
  • B.S. in CS, CE, or similar with relevant experience
