Overview VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic and innovative team in Herndon, VA/Chantilly, VA. What will you do? * Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
* Develop and implement statistical models, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms.
* Design experiments and evaluate models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
* Translate data-driven findings into clear business insights and recommendations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business stakeholders) to identify opportunities for data solutions.
* Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively communicate results.
* Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and AI/ML. Do you have what it takes? * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. Required: * TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph * BS in a quantitative field (mathematics, data science, statistics) * At least 3 years of demonstrated experience directly relevant to analytics, quantitative analysis, data science, artificial intelligence or machine learning * Proficiency with tools such as Postgresql/SQL, Python, R, and GitLab * Demonstrated experience with producing analytic insights from large scale data. * Demonstrated experience with quantitative analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. * Experience conveying complex data science insights to non-technical audiences * Specific experience with the Palantir Foundry/Gotham suite of tools Desired: * Experience with telecommunications metadata and content analysis * Experience exploiting or deriving insights from SIGINT, computer network exploitation, or other technical collection * Prior counterintelligence experience * Specific interest in or experience with technical surveillance This position is open for current and future openings.
