Summary of Position

Our Weekday Morning staff are responsible for all of Cowabunga's day-to day operations and needs. This person is responsible for maintaining safety in our gyms, cleanliness throughout the entire facility, and ensuring all guests at Cowabunga’s are greeted warmly and have fun during their visit! Our weekday morning staff are also expected to help with several important administrative tasks at our front desk like maintaining email, phone calls, and more!

Flexible Daytime availability: ~9:30am start ~3:30pm end Tue-Fri

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and effectively
• Greeting customers with a smile
• Communicating via phone and email
• Ability to take direction with little follow-up
• Ability to work independently
• Working under strict time deadlines
• Completing all cleaning tasks
• Effectively completing all scheduled shifts to manager’s satisfaction
• Performing character visits when called upon, unless excused by a doctor

Cleaning Requirements

At Cowabunga’s, all of our staff is expected to maintain cleanliness, it is just as important as their ability to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience. Our staff must…

• Maintain bathrooms
• Replace trash barrels
• Maintain family bathroom/changing areas
• Restock cleaning supplies
• Sweep and mop large sections
• Vacuum large sections
• Lift, move, reposition furniture to ensure cleanliness
• Scrub-clean various surfaces
• Have work inspected routinely for optimal results
• Maintain breakroom
• Maintain communal eating areas
• Respond to all customer accidents
• Maintain costume room
• Pick up and dispose of all trash properly

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be on feet continuously during shift
• Ability to lift 40lbs, when necessary
• Ability to jump, crawl, slide through equipment for safety checks
• Ability to work on hands and knees
• Ability to speak clearly and confidently
• Ability to climb ladders

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check with no concerns
• Reference check(s)
• Flexible availability
