Company Description

LearnSmart is looking for energetic and talented individuals to join our growing marketing department. Our new Marketing Coordinators will manage channel sale partnerships or advertising partnerships to promote the health and growth of the relationships. Individuals will help create marketing collateral, assist in creating marketing ideas to promote the partnership, and administer the implementation of all of the above.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications, and at least 2 years of corporate marketing experience. Mastery of standard office productivity (MS Office / Google docs) is a must. Additionally, familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe creative suite may be helpful to the candidate. Candidates should have a healthy mix of creative and analytic thinking. After all, the candidate will be asked to both "think up" the ideas as well as measure the effectiveness of those ideas.
The candidate will report to LearnSmart's new office on Bainbridge Island. Partial telecommuting (working from home) is available. The office is walking distance from the ferry so no car needed if you're commuting from Seattle.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage marketing and related logistics for channel sales partnerships / advertising partnerships
Assist with creating marketing programs to promote the success of the partnership
Work with managers and colleagues to implement projects in a timely manner
accounts advertising vendors, internal sales, product development and customer service departments
Identify and research new partnership opportunities
Assist in the creation and implementation of advertising campaigns
Writing fresh and exciting content for various promotional / advertising campaigns
Assist in the creation and implementation of advertising campaigns
Prepare vertical marketing news and project updates for company social media
Monitor industry publications and alerts for information relevant to our products, markets, or competitors
A bunch of other fun (and sometimes not so fun) marketing type stuff


Qualifications

Skills and other Qualifications needed include:
2+ years of marketing in a corporate setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Docs
Be organized and focused... please!
Be able to operate within deadlines
Sound understanding of marketing principles
