The Opportunity: We are currently accepting applications for a Digital Media Creator based in our Windsor, CT office reporting to the Multimedia Manager on the Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time HYBRID position.
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with the Professional Development team to create video content that educates learners about the industry in which they operate
  • Enhance the LIMRA and LOMA brands by creating engaging visual content, through video, photography & graphic design.
  • Bring creative visions to life through strong animation and motion graphic skills
  • Storyboarding and preproduction planning for video/multimedia projects.
  • Create videos through filming, editing, and motion design.
  • Use photography to capture events, people and products to support Marketing.
  • Staying current with industry trends, techniques and talent.
  • Maintain consistent quality control for all multimedia deliverables.
  • Help organize and maintain digital asset management.
  • Good multitasking skills with the ability to jump from project to project.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Video Production, Multimedia, Communications, Design).

What Do You Need to Succeed?
  • Experience with the Adobe creative tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier After Effects, Indesign, etc.), Nonlinear editing systems and other photo editing software
  • Skilled with Digital Cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Digital Cinema)
  • Fundamentals of photography (lighting, composition, exposure)
  • Knowledge of multimedia production tools and methodology, and a strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software and hardware
  • Strong skills in typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work and interface with members, clients, coworkers, management, and executives
  • Complex problem solver
  • Strong interest in continuous learning, information design, and technology (mobile and web)
  • A passion for marketing and branding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and people simultaneously
  • Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision

Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • 2d motion design, storytelling, 3D animation, design for video output
  • 2-3 years' experience in Adobe products
  • Effective time, project and client management skills
  • HTML, coding knowledge
  • Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes for use in design review and user testing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Creativity and a passion for excellence

Position requires up to 10% of job time traveling within the US and Canada
