Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Helpdesk Analyst responsible for equipment set up for employee use, resolving Help Desk tickets promptly, and providing Level 2 Help Desk support to users. This candidate will provide Tier 2 support by diagnosing and resolving technical issues across a variety of hardware, software, and operating system topics including but not limited to: We are looking for a person to either be based at our HQ in Noblesville IN or based in our Software division that is located in Louisville Kentucky. We will only be looking at resumes that are located in these two locations.
  • Provide remote and on-site desktop support for company users and computers.
  • Intermediate support of Windows 10/11
  • Intermediate support of Apple/iOS and Android phones
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 Administration
  • Intermediate Active Directory Administration
  • Intermediate Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
  • Intermediate Desktop applications (Office, Adobe, etc.)

Job Functions:
  • Imaging, deployment and application installation.
  • Perform PC and device upgrades.
  • Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of server rooms and equipment storage.
  • Escalation of help desk tickets.
  • Work with team and management on escalation of any issues (equipment, network etc)
  • Special assignments and projects as directed by the team lead or Director.
  • Assist with inventory management, shipping and receiving of IT assets.
  • Assist in creating new operation procedures for the IT knowledge base.

Travel Requirements:
  • Travel will be between 0-5% (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)

Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  • BS in IT or Computer Science preferred with up to 2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk role OR AS in IT or Computer Science with up to 4 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk role.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and take initiative.
  • Great client-facing communication and customer service skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Intermediate experience troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing laptops
  • Intermediate experience with Active Directory/Domain Controller
  • Intermediate understanding of Group Policies and other commonly used IT concepts and technologies
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Apple/iOS
  • Basic knowledge of VPN technologies
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
  • Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.
