Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a DevOps engineer to assist in the development, operation, and maintenance of government and contractor information systems supporting modeling and simulation.

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting, and documenting government and contractor computer systems and development support systems at multiple classification levels.

Clearance Level:

Cleared to work in a Top Secret/Special Access Program (TS/SAP) environment or at lease clearable to Secret. All candidates must be current United States citizens and have a mastery of the English language.

Required Skills:

  • Able to interpret, implement, and verify government and contractor computer security policies as they apply to government projects.
  • Able to install, use, test, and demonstrate the Modeling and Simulation tools and capabilities of the systems as needed.
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with Containers, such as Podman
  • Experience with Linux – AlmaLinux preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience developing, testing, and/or integrating new tools and capabilities for use on government and contractor systems.
  • Experience with Ansible or similar orchestration tools
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD development and testing tools
  • Experience with government Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Familiarity with government Modeling and Simulation technologies such as NGTS / AFSIM / ITASE / oneSAF
