We are looking for reliable, experienced Class A CDL Drivers to work on commercial sites and be responsible for safe transportation of customers goods using varied equipment and techniques. Class A CDL Drivers will be experienced, consistent and exceed expectations to provide Diamond-Class customer service.

Dive In! Your Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ability to take direction from a trade staff supervisor or operations manager
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Managing routes and assessing traffic to ensure an on-time arrival to customers' job site.
  • Complete knowledge or ability to learn DOT regulations, and procedures.
  • Complete understanding of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Learn and become proficient with internal software and technology
  • Knowledge of paper logs by the trip.
  • Enthusiastically embraces change and actively solves problems.
  • Attending and completing individual training as necessary.
  • Assist with determining and securing the resources and materials needed to perform the scheduled daily work.
  • Knowledge of how to load, pad, and secure household and office furniture inside of trucks.
  • Mechanically adept, that will allow the driver to identify any obvious defects on their unit.
  • Secure signatures on paperwork and record materials and equipment used for a specific job.
  • Display professional courtesy and manners when performing work in customers' homes or businesses.
  • Excellent customer service skills (both internally with co-workers and externally with clients.)
  • Exposure to the commercial transportation (trucking) industry and ability to drive straight trucks.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative can-do attitude especially during problem resolution and difficult situations.
  • Ability to work individually or in a team environment with changing demands and timelines.
  • Comply with Coakley Brothers driver eligibility criteria.
  • Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and comply with all local, state and federal motor vehicle operating laws.
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities of commercial trade staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
