What is a no experience aesthetic nurse injector?

A No Experience Aesthetic Nurse Injector job is a role for licensed nurses, such as RNs or NPs, who are new to medical aesthetics and looking to specialize in cosmetic injectables like Botox and dermal fillers. Employers may offer training or mentorship programs to help nurses develop the necessary skills. These positions often require a nursing license, a strong understanding of facial anatomy, and a willingness to learn. Many aesthetic clinics, med spas, and dermatology offices hire nurses with no experience and provide hands-on training. Gaining certifications and shadowing experienced injectors can improve job prospects in this field.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a no experience aesthetic nurse injector?

To thrive as a No Experience Aesthetic Nurse Injector, you need an active registered nurse (RN or LPN) license, a basic understanding of human anatomy, and a strong commitment to learning cosmetic procedures. You will typically use tools and products such as syringes for injectables, dermal fillers, and may need to undergo specific on-the-job training or certification courses in aesthetic medicine. Exceptional interpersonal skills, patient education abilities, and attention to detail help you excel in this client-facing, results-driven environment. These skills are crucial for building trust with patients, ensuring safety, and achieving positive aesthetic outcomes while under supervision.

As a No Experience Aesthetic Nurse Injector, you can typically expect comprehensive in-house training, mentorship from experienced practitioners, and opportunities to attend workshops focused on injectable techniques and patient safety. Many clinics provide shadowing experiences and gradual introduction to procedures, allowing you to build confidence under supervision. You'll also receive guidance on patient consultations, facial anatomy, and handling possible complications. Supportive team environments help ensure you develop the necessary skills, and ongoing education is encouraged to keep up with the latest trends and best practices in aesthetic nursing.

Job description

Aesthetic Nurse Opportunity With LaserAway

Are you passionate about aesthetics, committed to patient care, and excited to work in a cutting-edge clinical environment? LaserAway, the industry leader with over 10 million treatments performed and 18+ years of experience, is seeking talented Aesthetic Nurses to provide expert care and deliver exceptional patient experiences. Step into the future of aesthetics with LaserAway.

As the nation's leading provider of aesthetic dermatology, LaserAway has performed over 10 million treatments at 175+ locations—and we're just getting started. We're looking for passionate, licensed RNs, NPs, or PAs to join our clinical team and deliver exceptional, patient-first care.

As a LaserAway Aesthetic Nurse, you'll provide elective, non-surgical treatments including laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and injectables in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment. This is not a sales role—but your clinical care and patient education play a key part in retention and results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver FDA-cleared treatments with precision and care
  • Educate patients on procedures, post-treatment expectations, and long-term care
  • Document treatments accurately using clinic software systems
  • Collaborate with your Location Director and Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs) to optimize schedules and maintain seamless clinic operations
  • Rotate across 1 to 3 local clinics
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the LaserAway brand standard

Clinics are open 7 days a week with schedules published two weeks in advance. Training includes a paid onboarding program with virtual, in-clinic, and self-paced learning. Training pay is $20/hour during hands-on learning sessions, with the full clinical rate beginning after initial sign-offs.

What you bring to the team:

  • Active RN, NP, or PA license in the state of employment (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience required (excluding nursing school clinical rotations). This position is not open to new graduates; applicants must have post-graduate clinical experience in a hospital or similar acute care setting.
  • Confidence in using digital tools and following protocols
  • Strong energy and adaptability in fast-paced settings

Preferred background includes experience in acute care, med-surg, ICU, ER, or a related hospital setting. Home health, skilled nursing, and rehab facility experience may be considered if it includes substantial hands-on patient care in a high-volume setting.

Compensation & benefits include a competitive hourly base rate, commute and weekend differentials, paid training, PTO, and holidays, a full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with 4% match, and exclusive access to free and discounted LaserAway treatments.

At LaserAway, we're committed to empowering our Nurses to thrive in a dynamic, patient-first environment. If you are passionate about aesthetics, driven to deliver excellence, and ready to grow with an industry leader, we want to hear from you. Take the next step in your career—apply today and help us shape the future of aesthetic medicine!

LaserAway provides competitive compensation packages and a comprehensive range of benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance, a 401(k) plan with a company match, and additional ancillary benefits. We also offer Paid Time Off (PTO) in compliance with state and federal requirements, ensuring our employees are supported both professionally and personally.

This job description is not exhaustive and may be updated at any time. LaserAway is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will provide reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities to perform essential functions, barring undue hardship. Duties may be reassigned as needed.
