Job Summary:
VERSANT Media is an industry-changing media and entertainment business known for its trusted brands. They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and build scalable applications that power their next-generation platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from ideation to launch, delivering full-stack solutions that solve real business problems.
• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and modern front-end applications.
• Leverage SaaS, low-code/no-code platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate team quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure security, performance, and maintainability are core to all solutions.
• Work closely with product and architecture teams to align on the technical direction and business priorities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience with backend development in languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred:
