We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or MLS to perform laboratory testing and procedures while ensuring accurate, timely, and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological laboratory testing.
- Conduct testing according to laboratory policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide laboratory services for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Perform phlebotomy - required.
- Accurately document and report laboratory results.
- Follow laboratory safety, quality control, and infection-control procedures.
- Use proper body mechanics and safely lift up to 50 lbs. or more when required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- 1+ year of laboratory experience.
- Degree/education in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related Biological Science.
- ASCP certification as MLT or MT/MLS.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
- Phlebotomy experience - Must Have.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication, reading, and documentation skills.
- Meditech experience preferred.
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and occasional on-call hours.
