Reports to: District Manager
Salary: $75,000 per year + benefits

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead the operations at our Popeyes location in Manahawkin, NJ. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining Popeyes’ high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during all operating hours.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Operations and Cleanliness

  • Ensure the restaurant meets Popeyes’ operational standards, including food safety, cleanliness, and service quality.
  • Oversee daily operations, including kitchen performance, drive-thru efficiency, and front-of-house service.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the parking lot, dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms to maintain cleanliness and organization.

Financial Management

  • Monitor and manage the restaurant’s budget, including food costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
  • Ensure the restaurant maintains a 50% food and labor budget while driving profitability.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to upper management.

Guest Experience

  • Promote a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all employees are trained to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items.

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare the restaurant for corporate and health inspections to ensure passing scores.
  • Ensure adherence to Popeyes’ branding and operational protocols.
