We are currently seeking an Inspector in New Jersey.

 Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.


Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track project schedule and budget
  • Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
  • Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings
  • Track work progress through daily field reports and photographs

Qualifications
  • Experience working on projects for Amtrak, NYC Transit, or transportation a plus
  • OSHA certification required
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain field and office records and perform QA/QC inspections
  • Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborating with multiple team members
  • Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites
  • Flexible in working days, nights, and/or weekends
  • 5 years + experience
  • Must live in New Jersey 
  • Technical Degree a plus
