Job description

As the Child Youth Assessment Therapist, you will work in an outpatient setting located in Cherry Hill, Camden County NJ.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; Varied hours
Responsibilities:
  • Providing psychiatric emergency services and completing school clearance assessments for safe return to school, assess for ongoing treatment needs
  • Facilitates a resolution of the crisis within the least restrictive environment possible
  • Engage and assess consumer strengths and needs
  • Develop individual service plan to address presenting problems
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy address identified needs and presenting problems
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary
  • Collaborate with other service providers
  • Advocate for consumers and families within all systems involved (School, CSOC, DCPP)
  • Provide psychoeducation
  • Provide supportive telephone contact with families as needed
  • Maintain clinical records
  • Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports
  • Attend supervision as required
  • Attend intra-agency and interagency meetings as required
  • Maintain required level of service
  • Develop and facilitate psychoeducational groups to school staff, families and youth

Qualifications:
  • NJ Clinical License (LCSW/LPC)
  • Master's degree (MA, MS, MSW) in a recognized mental health discipline;
  • Clinical experience working with individuals, and/or families;
  • Driver's License in good standing.
