Position Summary:

Repairs all mechanical breakdowns, performs PM's, installation of equipment and general maintenance duties for ride dynamics products (primarily off-road vehicles and trucks).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use an electrical meter for basics such as checking voltage and ohms
  • Wire in single phase motors, receptacles and sensors.
  • Moderate welding / soldering using tig, mig and stick weld.
  • Identify and repair pneumatic / hydraulic / nitrogen issues
  • Drill and tap holes as required.
  • Make hydraulic hoses to correct dimensions.
  • Build simple pneumatic / hydraulic / nitrogen systems.
  • Moderate to advanced fabrication abilities.
  • Helps install new equipment with the direction of engineering / layouts.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills on all types of production equipment for worn / misaligned tooling and mechanical failures.
  • Plumb / pipe in water, pneumatic, oil and nitrogen lines.
  • Safely driving a forklift carrying machinery and heavy loads.
  • Ensure that all safety requirements are followed at all time.
  • Operate a manual mill and lathe with basic skills.
  • Precisely operate a drill press, horizontal and vertical band saw, buffers / sanders.
  • Must maintain a minimum of 80% compliance rate on assigned PM's
  • CMMS experience

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • CMMS must log at a minimum of 80% of all worked hours in PM's, planned and unplanned work orders for a period of no less than 3 consecutive months
  • Able to use all types of gauges - pressure, calipers, depth, etc.
  • Familiar with PLC-based controller/interface machinery.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.
  • Must be a proficient FOX Level 1 Maintenance Technician

Position Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance required

Must have a very broad background in hydraulics and pneumatics

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs.regularly

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
