Job description

About Nimbus
Nimbus is a leading independent mediation platform powering monetization for some of the most sophisticated mobile publishers globally.
Our platform enables publishers to access brand and performance demand across SDK and server-side partnership integrations, delivering transparency, control, and measurable revenue outcomes in an increasingly complex ecosystem.
As the industry shifts toward auction-based monetization and supply path optimization (SPO), Nimbus is positioned as a neutral, high-performance alternative to legacy and vertically integrated platforms.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an all-star Senior Publisher Partnerships Manager, for Non-Gaming verticals to help expand Nimbus' relationships across leading mobile app publishers. This role will focus on identifying strategic partnership opportunities, growing publisher revenue, managing commercial discussions, and helping publishers maximize monetization performance through Nimbus' mediation and exchange platform.
How will you help us achieve it?
As a strategic member of the Publisher Partnerships team, you will own and grow relationships across a portfolio of non-gaming mobile app publishers. Your primary objectives are to generate new business opportunities, expand existing publisher relationships, and help publishers maximize monetization outcomes across the Nimbus platform.
You value building trusted relationships and understand how to position Nimbus as a sophisticated, publisher-first monetization platform. You communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and are comfortable navigating conversations around monetization strategy, mediation, programmatic advertising, and mobile app growth.
You understand the complexities of the mobile programmatic ecosystem and know how to identify opportunities across a wide range of non-gaming verticals including social, dating, sports, weather, entertainment, shopping, music, health & fitness, news, and utility applications.
Internally, you are highly collaborative and work cross-functionally with Account Management, Demand Partnerships, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Executive Leadership to help deliver outstanding outcomes for publishers. Your teammates would describe you as relationship-oriented, proactive, analytical, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven.
The responsibilities of the role
Identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships with non-gaming mobile app publishers across a variety of verticals.
Manage and grow relationships with publisher accounts by understanding business objectives, identifying monetization opportunities, and positioning Nimbus as a long-term strategic partner.
Lead publisher-facing conversations across:
  • Mediation strategy
  • Programmatic monetization
  • SDK onboarding
  • Auction performance
  • Demand partner strategy
  • Yield optimization opportunities
  • Product adoption
  • Strategic growth initiatives

Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of publisher opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, conferences, networking, and strategic relationship development.
Collaborate closely with Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Demand teams to ensure successful onboarding, operational alignment, and long-term publisher success.
Monitor publisher performance trends and work cross-functionally to identify opportunities that improve monetization outcomes and overall publisher satisfaction.
Represent Nimbus externally across industry conferences, client meetings, networking events, and strategic ecosystem conversations.
Maintain strong understanding of:
  • Mobile programmatic advertising
  • In-app monetization
  • Mobile mediation
  • RTB auctions
  • SDK monetization
  • Industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Publisher monetization strategies

Assist with strategic GTM initiatives including:
  • Publisher presentations
  • Monetization recommendations
  • Case studies
  • Conference initiatives
  • Market intelligence
  • Ecosystem positioning

Support internal operational initiatives including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM updates, publisher onboarding coordination, and strategic account planning.
What you bring to the role
5+ years of ad tech experience with a strong understanding of the mobile programmatic ecosystem, including publishers, SSPs, DSPs, mediation platforms, and in-app monetization infrastructure.
Deep familiarity with mobile app monetization, SDK-based advertising, and programmatic advertising across iOS and Android ecosystems.
Proven track record of developing and growing strategic publisher relationships while driving measurable revenue growth and long-term account expansion.
Strong understanding of:
  • Mobile mediation
  • Programmatic auctions
  • RTB infrastructure
  • SDK monetization
  • Publisher monetization strategies
  • Yield optimization concepts
  • Mobile advertising ecosystem dynamics

A passion for identifying growth opportunities and solving complex monetization challenges through strategic thinking, relationship building, and data-driven recommendations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance trends, identify monetization opportunities, and communicate actionable recommendations to publishers.
Experience working cross-functionally with:
  • publishers,
  • account management,
  • product teams,
  • engineering,
  • solutions engineering,
  • and demand teams

while effectively communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with experience managing executive-level publisher conversations and long-term strategic partnerships.
Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a lean, fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities, manage multiple strategic relationships, and maintain strong attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and excellent verbal/written communication skills across in-person meetings, conferences, video calls, email, and Slack.
Existing relationships across the mobile app publisher ecosystem are strongly preferred.
