A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Coordinator, Proc/Prod (Night Shift) to support the production and development of integrated circuits in a high-tech semiconductor environment. This role involves handling delicate chip and wafer materials, operating semi-automated sorting equipment, and following detailed manufacturing procedures to ensure product quality and reliability. The position requires independent work within a collaborative team environment while supporting both production and R&D activities.

Manufacturing Technical Coordinator, Proc/Prod (Night Shift) Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate computer-controlled and semi-automated sorting equipment to pick, sort, and process integrated circuits according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Handle delicate chips and wafers while following detailed product documentation, standardized operating procedures, ESD protocols, and strict safety and quality standards to ensure consistent product reliability.
  • Perform wafer handling, processing, and visual inspection activities while interpreting hardware documentation and operating sophisticated manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Communicate concerns and process issues through established escalation channels and collaborate closely with engineering groups, trainers, operators, and cross-functional teams to support production and R&D objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by learning new skills, adapting to evolving manufacturing processes, and supporting operational excellence within the IC Sort area.

Manufacturing Technical Coordinator, Proc/Prod (Night Shift) Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controlled environment.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small, fragile components.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures, and engineering specifications.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, cleanroom, electronics, or semiconductor environment is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer processing, IC sorting, or visual inspection is preferred.
  • Experience handling delicate electronic components or microelectronic materials is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom practices and manufacturing quality standards is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

Shift:

  • Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
