Evening Shift- Full Time, Alternate Weekends

Shift Schedule 4PM-12AM

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Night Shift team at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Mount Vernon, New York. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, while providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff. Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on the Night Shift, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, monitoring their condition and reporting changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care
Provide education and guidance to nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development
Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Current New York State RN license

  • Current work authorization

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

  • Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess patients' needs and develop effective care plans

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
