Pay: $12.96/hr + tips = $17.05/hr +

What You'll Do

As our Server / Bartender, you'll help create an exceptional experience for every Home Run Inn guest. You'll take food and beverage orders, serve guests, prepare beverages, and make sure every interaction feels welcoming and genuine.


You'll be an important part of keeping the dining room and bar running smoothly while helping guests discover their next favorite Home Run Inn meal or drink.


No two shifts look exactly the same, and that's part of the fun.


You'll Spend Your TimeCreating an amazing guest experience
  • Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them in a timely manner
  • Present menus, answer guest questions, and make recommendations about food and beverages
  • Actively suggest menu items, specials, and upcoming events
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and serve food and beverages from the kitchen and service bars
  • Assist guests with requests and help ensure they have an enjoyable dining experience
  • Practice responsible alcohol service by monitoring alcohol consumption and verifying age requirements
Serving great food and beverages
  • Mix, prepare, and serve beverages using Home Run Inn standard recipes
  • Assist with service of food and beverages to tables
  • Pre-bus tables and help keep the dining area ready for guests
  • Assist with buffet table setup and takedown when needed
  • Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate and presented properly
Keeping the bar and dining room running smoothly
  • Operate the POS system and accurately process guest payments
  • Accept payments and provide correct change
  • Monitor bar and beverage equipment and systems
  • Request stock and monitor inventory levels
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, service station, and guest areas throughout the shift and at the end of the night
  • Use POS systems, calculators, and common cleaning supplies
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Supporting the team
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen teammates, hosts, and management
  • Work together with the team to maintain an efficient service flow
  • Promote and follow all workplace health and safety requirements
  • Jump in where needed to support the restaurant team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Must be at least 21 years old to pour and serve alcohol
  • Previous serving and/or bartending experience in a restaurant setting preferred
  • Strong communication, multitasking, customer service, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to constantly lift, reach, bend, and stoop
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to approximately 5 hours
  • Working knowledge of the predominant language of our guests
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler certification required within 30 days of hire
  • BASSET certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Safety shoes required within 30 days of hire
