ED RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift) – Travel Contract

Position Details
  • 13-Week Contract

  • Night Shift

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • 36 or 48 Hours/Week Available

  • Every Other Weekend Required

  • Holidays as Required

  • Must float to other units/hospitals as needed


Pay
  • $50 per hour

  • Approx. $1,800 – $2,400 per week gross
    (depending on 36 or 48 hours worked)

  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

    • 1:1 for trauma/critical patients

Requirements
  • Active Alabama RN License or Compact RN License required

  • No temporary licenses accepted

  • NURSYS verification required

  • AHA BLS required

  • AHA ACLS required

  • AHA PALS required

  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required

  • TNCC required

  • SECURE certification/on-site training required

  • Minimum 2 years ED experience preferred

  • Will consider 18 months experience with at least 1 year in Emergency Department specialty

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required

  • Meditech EMR experience preferred


Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all age groups

  • Assess, triage, and stabilize emergency patients

  • Respond to trauma and critical care situations

  • Administer medications and treatments

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary ED teams

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure quality patient care
