The Global Program Leader is accountable for the overall development of multiple assays, instruments and SW releases that are needed for our clinical and life sciences customer base. The incumbent acts as General Manager of the program to ensure all aspects of product development is done through excellence in execution with the skills to communicate program status across all levels in the organization.

This position reports to the Flow Senior Manager PMO and is part of the R&D PMO, working US remotely to cover US, France, India, and China global sites.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Leads cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage next-generation clinical product programs, ensuring excellence in product delivery and execution.
  • Oversees development efforts across multiple programs, ensuring alignment, seamless execution, and successful product release.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to drive execution, manage trade-offs, establish timelines and budgets, mitigate risks, and guide products through clinical trials and release.
  • Applies Danaher Business System (DBS) to establish program metrics, drive Daily Management, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
  • Communicates program status, escalations, and resolutions effectively, while fostering collaboration, enabling efficient cross-program communication, and translating complex issues for executive stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor's degree in the science or biology field
  • Prefer 15+ years of relevant experience in the life sciences or diagnostics field.
  • Prefer 10+ years of experience in leading complex product development
  • Experience with design control processes (e.g., FDA/ISO) across the full product lifecycle

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • PMP certification

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel - up to 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

The annual salary range for this role is $160K-$190K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
