Job description

At Real Radiology we are on a mission to improve patient outcomes by ensuring our clients and radiologists have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed. We are a physician-owned teleradiology company that is committed to seamless operations, innovative technology, and exceptional services.

Be part of a team that's transforming healthcare through meaningful impact. Here, collaboration, passion, and adaptability drive everything we do!

Summary

The Business Systems Analyst owns Real Radiology's core business platforms — Salesforce, QGenda, and Campfire — including configuration, administration, documentation, and user adoption. This role owns the enhancement backlog for assigned platforms, leads vendor coordination on releases and new functionality, and delivers the documentation and training that drive adoption across the organization. The role reports to the Business Analysis Manager and partners closely with the Business Analyst and Senior Data Analyst, supporting Business Analyst project work as team priorities require.

Job Functions

Platform Administration & Support

  • Own and maintain a prioritized enhancement backlog for assigned platforms, weighing business value against effort and presenting recommendations to the Business Analysis Manager for final decisions.
  • Serve as the primary business contact for platform vendors on releases, fixes, and new feature rollouts, coordinating with Information Technology where changes affect systems in HITRUST scope.
  • Develop deep working knowledge of each platform's architecture, data flows, and integration points across the organization.
  • Evaluate new platform features, modules, and vendor releases, and recommend adoption based on business need.

System Administration

  • Serve as system administrator for assigned platforms: manage configuration, workflows, and business rules.
  • Submit and track user access requests — account creation, role assignment, and permission changes — for approval and provisioning by Information Technology, and verify that assigned access aligns with job function.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity; troubleshoot issues and escalate through Information Technology to the platform vendor as needed.
  • Test configuration changes before production deployment, communicate changes to affected users in advance, and maintain a record of what changed and when.

Documentation & Training

  • Author and maintain user manuals, quick-reference guides, and standard operating procedures for each platform.
  • Design and deliver training for new users and for existing users on new features or workflow changes.
  • Keep documentation current as platforms, configurations, and processes evolve.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner with the Business Analyst on requirements gathering, process documentation, and implementation support for shared initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Data Analyst on data structures, reporting needs, and platform data feeding financial and operational dashboards.
  • Support the Business Analysis Manager with ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and other Business Analyst-style deliverables as team priorities require.

Preferred Talents

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple concurrent platform and project priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, able to train others of varying technical skill levels
  • Able to establish intake and prioritization discipline where formal process does not yet exist
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Business Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, and cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience as a business/systems analyst, platform administrator, or similar role, ideally in a healthcare or other regulated environment
  • Demonstrated experience owning or administering a business platform: enhancement prioritization, configuration, and workflow design
  • Experience creating end-user documentation (manuals, guides, SOPs) and delivering end-user training
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data-privacy/security requirements as they apply to system access and configuration
  • Salesforce Administrator certification, or equivalent platform certification, preferred

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including retirement and profit sharing
  • Paid time off and flexibility to support your personal life
  • Fuel for your day with company sponsored lunches & snacks
