Job description

Requirements
  • Support installation, integration, configuration, testing, and sustainment of enterprise and tactical network solutions
  • Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, servers, and related network equipment
  • Execute network deployments at customer, military, shipboard, and other operational locations
  • Configure VLANs, routing protocols, switching, IP addressing, VPNs, access controls, and network services
  • Perform equipment staging, rack-and-stack, cabling, labeling, and physical installation
  • Conduct pre-deployment testing, system integration, validation, and operational checkout
  • Troubleshoot Layer 1โ€“3 connectivity, configuration, hardware, and performance issues
  • Follow network architecture diagrams, implementation plans, engineering drawings, and configuration guides
  • Coordinate deployment activities with project managers, engineers, logisticians, cybersecurity teams, and customer representatives
  • Maintain configuration records, IP address plans, equipment inventories, test results, and as-built documentation
  • Support cybersecurity requirements, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration compliance
  • Perform system turnover, customer training, and post-deployment support
  • Identify deployment risks, technical issues, and schedule impacts and communicate them to project leadership
  • Support travel-intensive deployments lasting several days or weeks as required
