Location: Sandusky, OH
Who We Are
We are a fast-growing ambulance and medical transport service proudly serving communities across Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, and West Virginia. We specialize in dependable, professional non-emergency and private ambulance transportation for patients traveling between homes, hospitals, emergency departments, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, psychiatric hospitals, hospice programs, and other healthcare settings.

Position Overview – Night Shift
As a Night Shift NEMT Driver / EMT Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and reliable patient transportation during overnight hours. Night shift team members support hospital discharges, interfacility transfers, dialysis returns, long-term care transports, and other essential services that occur outside of traditional business hours.
This role requires professionalism, alertness, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a quieter but operationally critical overnight environment. • Assist EMTs with non-emergency medical transports during overnight operations
  • Safely transport non-ambulatory and mobility-assisted patients
  • Properly load, secure, and unload patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and safety equipment
  • Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and professionalism at all times
  • Safely operate company vehicles in low-visibility and nighttime driving conditions
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, sanitized, stocked, and inspection-ready
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and team members
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
  • Maintain alertness and readiness throughout the duration of overnight shifts
What We’re Looking For
  • Clean background check and driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 150 lbs., and push, pull, bend, and move without restrictions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High level of reliability and punctuality for overnight scheduling
  • Ability to remain alert, focused, and professional during night hours
  • Patient-focused mindset with compassionate bedside manner
  • EMT certification not required (excellent opportunity for aspiring EMTs or those entering healthcare)
  • This position is well-suited for individuals seeking healthcare experience while working a structured overnight schedule.
Why You’ll Love It Here (Full‑Time Benefits)
• Multiple medical plan options, Vista Wellness (physician/pharmacy), Dental, Vision
• Generous PTO and paid holidays
• 401(k) with company contribution; Life and disability coverage
• Tuition reimbursement up to $15,000 and student loan forgiveness programs
We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
